Living a Life of Understanding

There was a time when I thought I knew it all. I'm sure we all had similar moments like this. The world seems so stupid for giving us a very small pearl of life that later, we create into something no one would have imagined 100 years ago. That thought and imagination can run freely in your head. Do I understand? No. I don't think anyone truly understands why they are here, doing what they have been doing for their whole lives. You're telling me that nobody questioned themselves? That nobody has ever doubted themselves in the work that they do? Waking up every day saying: "This is the dream." What lies that we can fill our heads. How do we know our purpose in this world if we can't even comprehend what the world is here for?

Let's be honest with ourselves for a moment. We don't understand anything in this world. Even with the things we say or believe. As humas we undertsand that new ideas come. There's a never-ending cycle of learning and trying to comprehend what we can't. You can read the dictionary front to back however many times you want. And there will still be a new word you can discover that you never knew of. What's the point anymore? Why do I even bother trying to speak in these analogies and make you understand something that only makes sense to one person? Maybe that person is you. Or maybe it isn't. But, what I can tell you, that you will understand, is that there is more to life than trying to "figure it all out." We live in a world that brings expectations. "You must go to college after high school. You must get a job right after college, You should find your spouse in college. You should start a family when you have a home. You shouldn't be in debt. Your gas tank should always be filled to the brim. You should never run out of anything in the fridge. Nothing will break, your life should be perfect." The bullshit that the world tells you. Don't give in. Live the life you want to live. You don't have to understand it all to be able to change the world.
